In early 2005, Fabrizio Giugiaro styling director of Italdesign, pitched J Mays, Ford Motor Company's chief of design, on his idea to do an Italian job on the beloved Mustang. The result: Mustang by Giugiaro – a one-of-a-kind concept powered by Ford Racing technologies, marking the Italian coachbuilder's first reveal at the inaugural November Los Angeles Auto Show.

The Ford Mustang Giugiaro Concept is a 500 horsepower muscle car that comes from 4.6 L V8 supercharged engine, features single touch button to open door vertically, elegant 20 inches rim, bespoke tailghts as found on the 1964 Mustang, single curved glass panel, made from a special type of crystal that filters out 100% of UVA rays.

In the Mustang's first two years of production, three Ford Motor Company plants in California, Michigan, New Jersey produced nearly 1.5 million Mustangs. It was a tremendous success that left General Motors and the Chrysler Corporation utterly unprepared and desperate to develop a car that could compete with the Mustang. Even Lincoln Mercury and AMC saw the market potential and released new entries into the “Pony Car” segment, but by this time, the Ford Mustang already stood atop the pile and is still today one of the most successful single car brands in history.

Riding the wave of its success in the first two years, Ford released the slightly redesigned 67 model and introduced a host of new performance engines and model variants as well as new interior and trim options. Featured here is an absolutely gorgeous fully restored California built 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe. Finished in handsome, desirable, and code correct Vintage Burgundy Metallic over black interior, this well optioned car comes with 289 CID V-8 with 4 BBL carb, C-4 automatic transmission, power steering, factory A/C, AM/FM push button radio with rear speaker, overhead map lights, full center console, remote driver’s side mirror, polished wheels with double Red Line tires, new vinyl roof and much more! Engine:
The engine is a completely rebuilt 428 with the Tri-Power 6 pack on top. The leading edge carries an Edelbrock aluminum water pump, March billet pulleys, 7.5 quart aluminum Cobra oil pan & Cobra valve covers, Mallory billet distributor, Billet high-torque mini-starter, billet 12" flywheel and Ram clutch. The engine bay has a full Total Control engine bracing. This engine is a monster!!

Cooling:
Cross flow aluminum radiator with electric thermostatic fan.

Exhaust:
3 inch Jet Hot Coated Super Comp headers expel the gasses to a functional dual Flowmaster side-exit exhaust with custom billet exhaust tips all without cutting the floorboards to make it fit. No rattles on the chassis just the sound of pure power.

Transmission:
Transmission is a rebuilt RUG-M2 top loader 4-speed topped with a Shelby Big-Block shifter with rebuilt linkages, rods and a chrome shifter handle with reverse lock-out.

Suspension:
Total Control front coil-overs with fully adjustable strut rods and control arms. Shocks are adjustable aluminum Vari-Shocks. Both ends are covered by large diameter sway bars. 4 Wheel Power disc brakes, slotted rotors, power steering. 8 inch rear-end is topped with all new brakes and 2.79 freeway gears. This car can carve!!

Wheels:
Wheel are 18 x 7 and 20 x 8.5 Speedstars from Intro Wheels with Toyo tires.
