1968 Ford Mustang GT500 Eleanor Convertible Recreation

Engine:
The engine is a completely rebuilt 428 with the Tri-Power 6 pack on top. The leading edge carries an Edelbrock aluminum water pump, March billet pulleys, 7.5 quart aluminum Cobra oil pan & Cobra valve covers, Mallory billet distributor, Billet high-torque mini-starter, billet 12" flywheel and Ram clutch. The engine bay has a full Total Control engine bracing. This engine is a monster!!


Cooling:
Cross flow aluminum radiator with electric thermostatic fan.


Exhaust:
3 inch Jet Hot Coated Super Comp headers expel the gasses to a functional dual Flowmaster side-exit exhaust with custom billet exhaust tips all without cutting the floorboards to make it fit. No rattles on the chassis just the sound of pure power.


Transmission:
Transmission is a rebuilt RUG-M2 top loader 4-speed topped with a Shelby Big-Block shifter with rebuilt linkages, rods and a chrome shifter handle with reverse lock-out.


Suspension:
Total Control front coil-overs with fully adjustable strut rods and control arms. Shocks are adjustable aluminum Vari-Shocks. Both ends are covered by large diameter sway bars. 4 Wheel Power disc brakes, slotted rotors, power steering. 8 inch rear-end is topped with all new brakes and 2.79 freeway gears. This car can carve!!


Wheels:
Wheel are 18 x 7 and 20 x 8.5 Speedstars from Intro Wheels with Toyo tires.
